He has published, among others, Los días fraternales (The Brotherly Days), Deslinde del tiempo y el ángel (Delimitation of Time and the Angel), El laurel y el átomo (Laurel and Atom), Aprendizaje de la patria (Learning the Motherland), Guitarra sola (Lonely Guitar), Urdimbre y resplandor del inocente (Warp and Radiance of the Innocent), Generación poética del '50 (The 1950s Poets Generation), La Poesía Lunfarda (Lunfardo Poetry), Esquema de la poesía lunfardesca (Outline of Lunfardo Poetry) and Aula poética (Poetic Classroom).

He has won several awards: Girdle of Honor of SADE, Almafuerte Great Award, City Hall Essay Award, Rubén Darío Award of OAS, García Lorca Award (California), Consecration Award of the Province of Buenos Aires.

He is the Secretary of the International PEN Club (Argentine Branch); an Emeritus member of the Academia Porteña del Lunfardo (Buenos Aires Lunfardo Academy) and a member of the board of the Sociedad Argentina de Escritores (SADE, Argentine Society of Writers).
